"The Rümperiens"
The artist Carola Rümper investigates an unknown species since several years (called "Rümperiens").
She investigates the population as an artist, it means she documents the different characters of forms in many kind of materials. The artist made paintings, drawings, skulptures and digital works during the last years.
Rümper in the beginning thought that the population only lives in the north of germany (in a small area called "Land Wursten"). But after a few years of research she demonstrates the population living around the whole world. Rümper collects more and more information about this kind of beings.
Normally the "Rümperiens" live in areas which are rarely colonized from human beings. But the population is very curious, so they move to the peoples houses (inside and outside), parks, cars etc. You can see them occupying furnitures like tables, chairs, cupboards, beds and so on.
